"Florida Kilos" is a nostalgic yet seductive song about an escape to Florida. The lyrics suggest a kind of romanticized freedom, where two lovers can enjoy the night away dancing and taking drugs. The chorus "yayo, yayo, yayo" is a reference to the slang term for cocaine and implies the lovers taking part in reckless behavior. The reference to "gold teeth" in the outro is also linked with the drug references. The song paints an atmosphere of indulgence and escape, without forgetting the consequences of these activities. The freedom may be a fantasy, but it is nonetheless longed for by the narrator.
