"Honeymoon" is a song that explores the idea of two people in a passionate relationship despite the odds. In it, she references the idea of "cruising to the blues" and "Pico Boulevard in your used little bullet car" to show the spontaneity of their relationship. Despite the danger and violence that they sometimes have to go through, they have found a comforting refuge in each other. The chorus, "Our honeymoon, say you want me too", is her plea to her partner to acknowledge their love and stay with her regardless of the obstacles they may face. The refrain "Dreaming away your life" refers to their ability to forget their troubles and just enjoy their time together without the worries of the world.
