“Welcome to the Rodeo” was first teased on his Instagram on November 12, 2017 and then was released on January 8, 2018 as the first track to his major debut project, Life of a Dark Rose. In this song, Skies expresses that although he isn’t as popular as he wants to be yet, he believes he’ll go mainstream in the not-too-distant future with the right amount of effort. The music video, directed by Cole Bennett, was released on Lyrical Lemonade’s YouTube channel on March 29, 2018.
