Marking the completion of Lil Uzi Vert’s EP RED & WHITE, “F.F.” is an initialism of Final Fantasy, a Japanese anthology media franchise, the first instalment of which was released in 1987. Further, Uzi name-drops Kingdom Hearts, a video game series including Final Fantasy characters.
Uzi initially previewed the song through an Instagram direct message on September 5, 2021.
