“Patience” previously known as “Seroquel” takes place as the 20th track on Lil Uzi Vert’s third studio album Pink Tape.
The song would be heard for the first time on July 14, 2022, in a group chat in which Lil Uzi Vert is quite active.
On this day other songs were previewed such as:
“Growing Pains”, “Glock In My Purse”.
The song was sent by lead producer, BugzRonin to both Lil Uzi as well as Don Toliver by accident, and both artists recorded seperate tracks over the beat. On a later studio session in which the three artists linked up, Don Toliver played his version of Patience to Uzi and BugzRonin. Loving what Don did to the track, Uzi wished to combine both his and Don's attempts at the track, giving rise to his heavily awaited song, Patience (feat. Don Toliver).
