Guyville is obviously fantastic but this and The Girly-Sound Tapes are my favorite Liz releases ever

I take it back but this album is still essential. If you love Exile you almost certainly love this too, it sounds like it was made with the same care

I guess people were so awestruck by "Guyville" that they didn't give this album the chance it did deserve. It's a brilliant follow-up - more polished, but in the exact amount. There's no filler in this album.

I think this is a great album that is underrated. Just as good as Exile in Guyville. I basically love her first three albums... Anyone else hoping the new one is back to the old Liz?

Some of these songs are better than EIG, some not as good, evens out to an equally good album. Support System, Shane, Nashville, Dogs of L.A., Crater Lake, Alice Springs, May Queen... some of my favorite songs ever! The only song I have never been able to warm up to completely over the years is Cinco De Mayo, I don't dislike it but think it is more like WCSE-level quality.

Let's not forget Go West, Cinco de Mayo, Support System and the title-track. Good but not as good as EIG and WCSE.
