Lupe de Lupe is an independent noise rock band from Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Formed in late 2008 by Renan Benini on the bass, Cícero Nogueira and Vitor Brauer on the guitar, and Daniel Cabral on the drums. The band's sound is influenced by shoegaze and mpb, Music produced with identity.
There have been some changes in the drums until guitarist turned drummer Cícero takes the place and Gustavo Scholz joins on the guitar.
In February 2011, they released the Recreio EP by the label Fórceps Discos.
Since then, they've already released five full length albums, and two EPs. In 2019, Jonathan Tadeu officially joined the band as a composer and guitarist.
Lupe de Lupe has now a huge influence on the brazilian independent rock scene with their DIY aesthetics and low-cost productions.
