Kołysanki (Polish for "Lullabies") is the fifth full-length album by the Polish band Lux Occulta, released in 2014. It is their first full-length release since 2001's The Mother and the Enemy. In contrast to the band's previous black metal and avant-garde metal work, this album consists almost exclusively of avant-gardeelectronic music, and, in addition to the usual guitar, keyboards, and drums, features instruments such as accordions, cajóns, violins, and trumpets. Lux Occulta (Latin for "hidden light") is the name of a Polish symphonic black metal band, founded in late 1994. Their work, also strongly influenced by progressive metal, commonly incorporates elaborate arrangements often featuring multiple sections and unpredictable time signature changes.
