“Nothing Matters But You”, the sixth track on Madison Beer’s sophomore album, is heavily speculated to be about Beer’s boyfriend, Nick Austin. The song has Beer wondering how she survived before she met Austin, and feeling like “nothing matters but him”.
In a TikTok, Beer explained this track was inspired by “Nothing Matters But You” by The Young Veins. In a livestream, she stated that either this song or “I Wonder” was the last song she wrote for this album. It was first teased in a Twitter Space
