With their sites set above and beyond, Malachi Crunch has already made an impact on the west coast. Drawing you in with graceful and beautiful melodies, their music is both powerful and poetic. Some people have described Malachi's music as anger marinating in despair. With a new and inventive approach to hard rock, they will be recognized by the music industry soon.
Re-formed in January 2004 with new members from some of the best bands in San Francisco and San Diego, lead singer Paul Watkins has an all-star lineup to back him up. Ed Mora and Jeff Bruckman thrive on the contrast between their two styles, which helps give Malachi it's unique sound. Jason Schultz soon completed the line-up playing bass, coupled with Glen Whitney's hard hitting, explosive approach to the drums, the talent in the rhythm section is obvious. Frontman Paul Watkins exposes his innermost anger and anguish with melodies that haunt even the most confident of people….Creating the sound that is Malachi Crunch.
