Marian Gold (real name: Hartwig Schierbaum, born May 26, 1954 in Herford, Germany), is best known as the lead singer of the German synth-pop group Alphaville.
He has released two solo albums. So Long Celeste (1992), and United (1996).
He continues to write and release records under the Alphaville name, and perform live with the Alphaville live band.
