My feelings crumble for this song. Every time I listen to it, I go back to that beach and tears are shed by my eyes. My favourite song of them <3

I've seen too much of life so the sea is my wife and the sweet ocean clouds will look down on my bones tonight...

Wow this is much better than the studio version, I love the studio version but this has so much spirit and more emotion.

A pity that the media and power brokers in this country prefer to lionise pointless 'celebrities' like Cheryl Cole etc, moronic footballers, reality and soap stars and any other general nonentities than real heroes like the subject of this awesome tune. Which if not for listening to i would have never heard of Don Allum and his incredible adventures!

What an awesome song! I particularly love the middle section right after the guy mentions the black wall of water

Favorite song. No way I can describe what I feel when listening to this. I just LOVE the sea (my hometown has a very strong past bound to the sea), and I instantly fell in love with this masterpiece. It embraces you completely, it's almost unbelievable. God, I love Marillion.

Blown away. Generally I prefer fish-era but this song surpasses anything they did back then
