Biography

There are three artists with this name:

1. Marlon (born August 24, 1977 in Cuba) is a Cuban singer, better known as the winner of the third season of Objetivo Fama, a Puerto Rican reality-show -singing talent contest broadcast by Univision Puerto Rico, and Telefutura network in the United States.

Marlon Fernández was born in La Lisa, Cuba in 1977 to José and Raquel Fernández. At the age of 14, he formed a five-piece band that would help him in his future career.

On October 24, 2006 he released his debut album titled Mi Sueño by Univision Records which peaked at #7 on Billboard's Latin Tropical chart. Marlon's first single was a cover of Willie Colón & Celia Cruz's hit "Usted Abusó", which he released alongside La India. The latter has always been Fernández's idol, and they met during the contest. The single peaked in the Top 10 in the Tropical Charts.

2. Marlon Knauer (born August 19, 1987 in Berlin) is a German singer, identified on album covers, concert advertisements, and other media only by his first name.

At the age of 14 he was "discovered" by Rolf Brendel, formerly the drummer for Nena. In 2002 his second single, "Lieber Gott", made in collaboration with Peter Maffay, Nena, Udo Lindenberg, Herbert Dreilich, Joachim Witt and Rolf Stahlhofen, was a breakthrough, reaching number 6 on the German charts. Revenue from the song was used to help victims of the 2002 European floods. In the same year his first album, Hallo Liebes Leben, was released. In January 2006, his single, "Was immer du willst", appeared, and on February 9, 2006 it came in sixth in the Bundesvision Song Contest.

3. An Italo Disco singer. Only one hit single: "too much … I love you".
