Need some help, there's a metal track which blatantly ripps off the opening riff, anyone remembers which one it was?

found it at Carcass' - Unfit for Human Consumption - I reconsider: It's not like a rip-off but more like a really strong resemblance/homage I guess

When the morning starts with Rust in Peace or Kill 'Em All, you know the day's gonna be a good one.

Totally agree, first verse totally blows my mind... how talented you need to be to be able to put all of that together

I'm on board for this being one of the all-time metal anthems. Problem is, which Megadeth song do you choose as the best? There's so many amazing songs! I know Dave always maintains that the lyrics in the first half and second half of the song are unrelated, but to me, it seems that there is a connection. The first half is like a third-person point of view of terrorism, while the second half is like a first-person point of view. Very cool song, one of metal's finest! Man, can he play that guitar any faster?

I've always thought that the last half of the song has been less good than the first half. Seems like there have been two writers involved here..! But the ending surely makes up for it: Especially around the five minute cap \m/>.<\m/

A Megadeth masterpiece. Marty Friedman and Dave Mustaine had incredible chemistry on this track.
