Biography
Midtown Reign are a piano based rock band, set up in 2008, by the Sands brothers in Newry.
Their debut album entitled 'Seat by the window' has been written, recorded, mixed and produced by the band themselves in their own studio, and mastered by Nathan James at Vault Mastering in New York.
This new band was set up after the boys took an extended break from playing in various cover bands throughout the 90's and early 00's, shifting their direction to focus on songwriting and developing their music production skills.
Having raised enough to finance the building of their studio in 2000/2001, through extensive gigging and CD sales, this debut album is only the first snippet of a long term plan which has been waiting in the pipeline for almost a decade.
Their own label Stormtide Records will release 'Seat by the window' on 28th January '11, which will be available worldwide via all the major download stores, with a physical release planned for later in the year.
