Progressive isn't House music. It was called "Progressive" by late 90ties couse it blends sounds of House, Trance and Techno in organic new style. And no, Hiloola isn't Trance music. The closest to Trance from Moshic is his Argonout monicker . Also calling Moshic "mostly unknown" is, well... maybe for todays zoomers he is, but in era of real progressive music genre, he was one of well known and liked. And He still is but not for every listener of Aviici, Guetta or whoever todays popular "progressive" musician is.

I find odd his obsession in associating himself with 'progressive house'. Take for example the album Hiloola (Part 1), an entire prog trance / prog psy trance album. When Moshic described it, he wrote three times it is "progressive house", when it clearly isn't. I know a lot of the 2000s progressive artists distanced themselves from the word "trance" as it acquired an (unfair) reputation at the time (as if house and, especially more recently, techno haven't suffered from commercial/mainstream popularity). But this guy takes it to the next level. He goes out of his way to try to associate himself with a scene where he doesn't entirely fit in. I know genres are highly debatable, but they are helpful to guide listeners in finding the music they like in the vast sea of electronic music - mismarketing your work only makes it harder to be found. Maybe this helps to explain why he remains mostly unknown despite having a lengthy, solid discography. He is pitching his music to the wrong crowd.

MrKatsumi > Kintar is close to mood of Moshic style. His old tracks are more dark when newest one can be more "catchy" like u say. Check his second album "Carpe Diem". I think u will like it.

Moshic is too much more progressive trance than progressive house, specially when analysed the complexity of melodies, bass line structure and the elements used in his tracks. There's still lots of people who confuses progressive house with progressive trance...

I am so deeply moved by Nanok's lush and tribal soundscapes, perfectly laced percussion and airy pads. The whole EP is astonishing (check out Dynamic Link on the B-side.)
