Saw them last Friday for the 2nd time (first was in 2014 after their last album) and I'll never get over how incredible they are. Seen Punch Brothers a few times too, but you just really never get tired of a Chris Thile mandolin solo.

Yep, they started when they were kids. Sean was the oldest at 12 y/o when they formed.

Hope they can get back together for a new album again soon. Hard to believe it's already been 8 years since their reunion album and tour.

In total amazement at the beauty and artistry in their music. I'm a former major market radio Program Director and don't give musical acts props very easily. There is, however, a difference between musical acts and artistry. Thank you, Nickel Creek, if you happen across this post some day.

Wait, so this isnt a Nickelback tribute band of members from the cast of Dawson's Creek?

I could echo so much of what has already been said. No group of musicians has surprised and delighted me as much as these three. This Side is one of my most favorite albums of all times, which breaks somewhat from my usual classic/progressive rock. Always delighted to hear Chris Thile on his own, too. Criminally underrated. [7] Indeed.

Nickel Creek is the type that you are glad they came into your life. Once, twice, many times, never enough.

aww, the first album I ever got was "This Side". I was like 12. That cd was possibly the best thing that happened that year. Listening to it right now, sweet memories.

Nickel Creek changed my life. I grew up on them; I would not have been the same person I am today if it weren't for them. "This Side" has got to be my all-time favourite song. Ever.
