Nir Felder began playing guitar at the age of thirteen. He went on to graduate from Berklee College of Music in Boston and won the Berklee guitar department’s Jimi Hendrix Award.
After relocating to New York, he started gigging at the Jazz Club Small’s with saxophonist George Garzone and rapidly amassing credits that include sessions and performances with Greg Osby, Terri Lyne Carrington, Me'Shell Ndegéocello, José James, Esperanza Spalding, Jack DeJohnette, Eric Harland, and the New York City Opera.
