Just discovered this band. Wow! How did I miss this? This is REAL punk rock not this watered down crap. Reminds me a bit of Rollins/Black Flag. And Canadian to boot! Always a plus lol

Just saw your comment here. Glad we agree on this one since it seems we don't agree on Dance of the Headless Bourgeoisie and a couple of the others. But like you said over there, at least we agree that NMN rules in general. So sad that they're gone and I passed up on the last opportunity I had to see them live because of relationship bullshit.

Yeah, no one talks about this one and that's a goddamn shame. Some of their best stuff is on here and the playing has some real power behind it. In fact, I would say that this is probably the band's hardest rocking LP they've ever done. Also it's the debut of Tom Holliston on guitar! Andy was great and both Mama and Why Do They Call Me Mr. Happy? both prove that the Wrights could make quality albums without a guitarist, but Tom's joining really seems to have reinvigorated NMN with a desire to rock your cock off, which they do mercilessly on this record. Hard to choose just a few highlights, but my favorites are probably "Humans," "I've Got a Gun" and "My Politics."
