Nusantara Beat is a musical collective from The Netherlands that creates a contemporary world groove whilst paying homage to traditional Indonesian sounds. Featuring band members from Dutch bands such as EUT, Jungle by Night and Altin Gün, Nusantara Beat released their début single, 'Djanger', in April 2023.
In the words of the band themselves: "Nusantara Beat's commitment to honoring tradition is only part of their mission. They also strive to showcase the immense diversity of Indonesian music and usher it into the future. By adding their own innovative twists to the mix, they pay homage to the traditional sounds while introducing a fresh and contemporary perspective."
