Biography
ODD EYE CIRCLE (Hangul: 오드아이써클) is a South Korean sub-unit under MODHAUS, composed of members Kim Lip (김립), JinSoul (진솔) and Choerry (최리).
Formerly known as LOOΠΔ / ODD EYE CIRCLE (Hangul: 이달의 소녀 오드아이써클), the trio was originally formed in 2017 as the second sub-unit of South Korean girl group LOONA (Hangul: 이달의 소녀) through the pre-debut project "Girl of the Month" under BlockBerry Creative.
They released their first extended play Mix & Match with the lead single "Girl Front" on September 21, 2017. On October 31, they released a reissue of the EP, titled Max & Match with three new songs, including lead single "Sweet Crazy Love".
After the termination of their contracts with BlockBerry Creative on January 13, 2023, the three members, alongside LOONA bandmate HeeJin, signed exclusive contracts with new label MODHAUS on March 17, 2023. On April 15, 2023 they were introduced as part of the project group ARTMS under MODHAUS, with the later addition of LOONA member HaSeul, who joined the label and subsequently the group on June 26, 2023. The label was founded by former LOONA A&R, creative director and producer Jaden Jeong.
Kim Lip, JinSoul and Choerry resumed activities as a trio in 2023 as an official sub-unit of ARTMS under the name ODD EYE CIRCLE. They released their extended play ODD EYE CIRCLE <Version Up> with the lead single "Air Force One" under MODHAUS on July 12, 2023, with a European tour announced later that summer.
