“Josslyn”, and specifically the remix featuring 24kGoldn, tells the story of a relationship turned sour due to a love triangle causing the man in the relationship to cheat on and manipulate Olivia.
Olivia laments on the way the relationship ended while expressing her focus on moving past it, forgetting the man who betrayed her. In the remix, 24kGoldn’s verse provides the perspective of the man who cheated in the relationship. In one aspect, this garners sympathy for the perspective of the man in the relationship, in contrast to the original song’s focus on his sinister actions.
The remix featuring 24kGoldn was released on the 22nd of May 2020.
