"Stabilisers For Big Boys", the second song off Panchiko’s debut EP D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L, is about growing up and coming of age, the song presents 2 sides of puberty: A more sensitive, vulnerable side and a more sexually frustrated, basically horny side. This perfectly encapsulates the behavior of teenagers during that period of their lives. It also touches on other topics like alcoholism, family dynamics, loss of innocence, insecurity, and loneliness.
Owain has credited the lyrics from the Bridge and Outro sections to the song "Fame Thing" by Ultrasound.
