Biography
Pinkie Maclure is a Scottish singer and musician. She released her first album in 1986, constructed of loops of cassette library field recordings, synths and her 4 octave vocal range. This was followed by an avant-jazz-rock album 'This Dirty Life' with The Puritans in 1989 and an electro-acoustic pop album, 'Favourite', on Beggars Banquet records in 1995. She formed the duo Pumajaw with John Wills in 2000, so that she could concentrate more on singing and live performance.
