Featuring hard-hitting production from UK drill producer 808 Melo, “Welcome to the Party” is a drill track and first breakout hit, (the second being “Dior”) for Brooklyn-native, Pop Smoke.
The track served as the second single to his debut mixtape, Meet the Woo. Released on April 23, 2019, the song would go onto gain widespread attention and popularity and would get remixed from many artists in the rap game, including the likes of: A$AP Ferg, Dave East, Kiing Shooter, Meek Mill, Pusha T, and Rico Nasty.
However, Pop Smoke would release two official remixes, with fellow rappers Nicki Minaj and Skepta.
