Biography
Purrple Cat is a lo-fi hip hop music project founded in October 2018 by music producer, visual artist, animator and who the real name Emma Wilson, hailing from the United States. Embracing her studio as a creative haven, Wilson endeavors to construct immersive auditory realms and ethereal soundscapes, drawing inspiration from distant dimensions. Wilson uses her illustrations of as Purrple Cat to be the mascot for the music project.
The EP, "Sweet Dreams," emerged on April 8, 2020. This compilation introduces a seamless fusion of mellifluous guitar motifs, tranquil rhythms, and celestial harmonies, evoking a serene auditory reverie.
Following suit, the album "Distant Worlds," released on December 30, 2020, ushers audiences into a realm of exquisite lullabies where tender soundscapes intertwine with emotive melodies.
The sequel, "Distant Worlds II," launched on February 12, 2022. This album features soothing guitars entwine with otherworldly pianos, harmonizing with serene rhythms and tranquil basslines.
The following album "Adventure Island" was released on June 23, 2021. It features effervescent guitars and mellifluous keys coalesce, set against a backdrop of carefully curated atmospheric nuances and gentle percussions.
The third entry to the series of albums, "Distant Worlds III," was unveiled on November 14, 2022. The album features evocative melodies, cushioned by gentle guitars, tranquil drums, and far-reaching harmonies, encapsulate a sentiment of inquisitive wonderment.
