First released as track 4 on Side D of the I Didn’t Mean To Haunt You vinyl. The title of this track was revealed by YouTube music content ID on reuploads of the vinyl-exclusive tracks, and the song was later officially released on October 30th, 2023 as a part of SCRAPYARD II. Following its release on streaming, Quadeca dropped a music video, co-directed by Dev Lemons and himself, in which he performs a sign language interpretation of the lyrics. Quadeca worked extensively with an ASL instructor in preparation for this and took some poetic/artistic liberties in his translation. Quadeca later revealed that he had been sitting on the song and video concept since December of 2021 and originally planned to release it as a YouTube exclusive single during the wait for I Didn’t Mean To Haunt You, but ultimately decided against this as it might have diminished the rollout of the album. He also explained that the track was meant to release on SCRAPYARD II first, but the vinyl came early and the pack came late. DUSTCUTTER appears on the vinyl because “vinyl buyers deserve to have the best music possible in their experience”
