To each his own, but why do you say that? Like I said in my comment before, I put this one up there with their very best.

It just lack something for me.. some 'edginess' if you want to call it that. It's still 'The Ramones' just a bit softer than usual :P

Up there with the very best of their albums. Some of their best ballads (in fact, "Questioningly" might be my favorite of their ballads -- what a beautiful song) and plenty of terrific asskickers as well. "It's a Long Way Back" is one of my favorite Dee Dee songs, too. Great, sad way to end the album.

I've often considered this one to be their best, or at least my favorite, throughout the years. It's tough to go against the debut for me but I just love the songwriting, the sound of the album, the slight Metal feel on some of the songs, the aforementioned impeccable ballads... I really love this one. For me of the first four it's Rocket to Russia that lags slightly behind the others. This one was the first to show a bit of artistic growth and it's just killer from start to finish.

This LP may have been molded with commercial intentions, yet it still manages to be thoroughly solid stuff. Proof that you can have financial aspirations and still write a quality rock album that doesn't betray who you really are ('cept for the folks who are just that adverse to ballads and guitar solos, but the ones here sound pretty good to my ears, honestly!).

Another solid album by them (so what else is new?). With a bona fide masterpiece on it ("I Wanna Be Sedated"). Love the "Needles & Pins" cover!
