Peak Rancid. In this one they show their range. They could do it all. I love the 200 album, but they should always come back to playing more than punk/hardcore.

I do see the Sandinista comparison, as the lengthy follow-up record to their biggest / most popular album of their career and it being all over the place in a good way and very diverse in its songwriting .

Subjectively, not my favourite of theirs, but I think it's the most creative. Plus it was the first CD I bought with self-earned money :)

Their "Sandinista" works better then The Clash's.Intense, rich, powerful, thick and dark. It has some unbelievable tracks, like Coppers, Life Wont Wait, Hoover Street... I'd say this is their finest moment, the moment when they reached the level of their idols

This album kicks fucking ass, I'm sick of people saying it's not really Rancid's sound, cause it is. Granted, they definitely did some experimenting, but it turned out great, not like The Clash's Sandinista!, which had potential, but for the most part sucked.
