@FurryGuitarist: you're not simply a poser for not listening to it. i qualified my statement: "if you 1) listen to thrash and 2) don't have this in your collection then you 3) deserve to die in a fire along with all the other posers." - it's a non-literal assertion that makes use of violent hyperbole as both a tribute to the album's extreme style/lyrical themes as well as the passion felt by the listeners (like me) that appreciate it for those reasons. the fact that you yourself have listened to the album and still feel touchy about such a clearly figurative phrase leaves me with the impression that you're weathering the turbulent storm of life known as puberty. if so, then there's little reasoning with you before it subsides in a few years time. perhaps then you'll be able to reflect back on your adolescent toy throwing with the same mirth that the rest of us do. if not, then you need to act your age.

My only problem with this album is the mastering - everything is so crushingly heavy and perfectly mixed, but its just too fucking quiet. Needs a reissue!! Such a fucking ridiculously good thrash record...

The guitar tone on this album is just stupidly fucking good. It's so low-down that it drags its knuckles in the dirt. A lot of death metal albums sound tame in comparison.
