“Birthday“ is the title track of Red Velvet's 2022 mini-album ‘The ReVe Festival 2022 - Birthday’.
On November 28, 2022 at 6PM KST, the quintet shared the music video for the track. Like their previous single “Feel My Rhythm“, “Birthday“ samples from another classical music piece – George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue“.
The whimsical new visuals sees the members of Red Velvet being transported into a kaleidoscopic imaginary world constructed from giant pieces of chocolate and candy. Each member also has her own surreal world, such as one where Seulgi performs with traditional Korean lion dancer, and another where Wendy sings in a garden modelled after a chessboard.
