Experimental, ambient, and epic, Veteran of the Loudness Wars is a throw back to 80's, Thriller-era Jackson and Talk Talk buzz. Songwriter Glen Phillips and Producer John Askew (Faux Hoax, Dodos) had previously worked together on Phillip's 2007 Secrets of the New Explorers and decided to work together again on a this new concept project.
