I like the new album, eventhough it's very simplistic dm riffing, it makes it an easy to listen to death metal album that relies alot on its catchy-ness, not too technically, but it's pleasing for the ears of fans of Dismember/old Edge Of Sanity

Very good stuff. I figured I wouldn't like 'em, but I do. Interestingly, I didn't find out about them until this year. Hmm... actually I think I knew of them (only their name) and I decided not to actually listen to 'em back then.

It takes some time because the songs are quite tough. But they've got the essence of the 90s death metal scene in it. The swedish HM2 Boss-bands, the melodic Gothenburg bands, the grinding UK bands. All mixed up into a very nasty network of rotten death worship. Never boring, never disapointing. Hail to the deathkult!

I can now link this review up properly! Once again, my review of the debut album - Deathevokation from German death metallers Revel in Flesh at http://thisnoiseisours.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/revel-in-flesh-deathevokation.html. Go read about this awesome slab of death metal!

Deathevokation sounds like something recorded in the early 90's, locked away, then pulled out in 2012. That's how much oldschool Swedish death metal worship it sounds like
