Biography

Rozlyne comes from Australia. She was born in Sydney, her father was an ingeneer, she has one brother who is 3 years older than her.

In 1990, she was playing the musical comedy "Cats" in Paris while a friend of her was auditioning for French producer Nicolas Skorsky. Unfortunately for her, she was refused but her friend presented Rozlyne. Success was immediate. Her first single Eddy Steady Go (recorded in only one day) was one of the year 1991's biggest hits (reaching #8 in the sales charts, and #1 in the clubs). Then came Gorgeous and Dancin' Is Like Makin Love, which both charted in France. Her first album, entitled Gorgeous, was produced in France by Nicolas Skorsky and Eddy Beatboxking (who also contributed to Indra's early singles).

A fourth single from the album was released in France in 1992. The Wizard Of Roz was one of Rozlyne's favorite tracks, as it was dedicated to her dad and she had co-written it. The song flopped, and has become a rarity.

In 1994, her singles were remixed by the DJ duet Unity Power and Eddy Steady Go '93 was once again #1 in the French club charts. Some excellent eurodance singles followed. Her second album was produced in Belgium, unfortunately it was not very successful.

Let-Motiv also used her voice on the single Ecoute Bien Ces Mots.

In 1997, she did a duet with Stevie H (who had already appeared on her previous single I Need You), entitled I'm On Fire / Quel tempérament de feu. This was her last single to be released.
