On “CHopstix,” ScHoolboy Q raps about being infatuated with a woman, comparing her legs to the utensil. Travis Scott’s chorus reflects two meanings of chopsticks: first the woman’s legs, and second, “chopper,” a slang term for a gun.
The song was originally slated for an April 4, 2019 release, but was postponed due to the murder of rapper and fellow Crip Nipsey Hussle just four days prior. Q explained the song’s postponement in a video that was posted hours before its expected release date. The song was still accidentally put on Spotify on the 4th but was immediately taken down.
