Seam song (written by Sooyoung and Lexi) released first by Codeine. Seam and Codeine are closely linked together. Members of both bands went to the same school, Oberlin College, and were in other bands/related bands with each other. Also during that time John McEntire (Bastro, Tortoise, and briefly a member of Seam) and Liz Phair went to Oberlin College. Stephen Immerwahr and Lexi Mitchell were in a band called the Lillies and Chris Brokaw and Orestes Morfin (Bitch Magnet, Sooyoung's band before Seam) were in a band called Pay the Man. Stephen Immerwahr also did the live sound of Bitch Magnet during their 1989 tour and Bitch Magnet would bring him out on vocals as they covered Codeine's Pea.

you receive: the gift that keeps on giving by virtue of it being itself; SEAM..............i receive: an arrowhead through my neck

seriously wish Touch n Go would relinquish the rights they have to their catalogue already... TPWM and the others need to be heard by the rest of world...

Not a boxset (sadly) nor confirmation that more are in the pipeline, but Numero just reissued Headsparks and Days of Thunder. Up for pre-order as of today.

there are not many bands where the album artwork perfectly indicates its music.

I don't think there has ever been a band that has disbanded as beautifully as Seam did. The last three songs on The Pace Is Glacial are perfection. A mesmerizing trip on a sinking ship.
