I can't lie, this might be in my bottom three albums for Sodom. It's still a solid effort, however, I find many of the surrounding works to outshine this one by a fair bit.

Only way its possible is because Sodom has a few better albums, this is fantastic though.

This album is legendary...i don't agree though that is better than any Metallica record....RTL or MOP are monoliths in thrash even though Metallica unfortunately abandoned/sold out the thrash scene with black album

Also I have to say that Black Sabbath's Symptom of the Universe, helped to develop thrash metal, because of that guitar solo and riff, it sound 'thrashy' I love Black Sabbath, one of the greatest bands of all time.

@Samson - TOOL were definitely influential in prog metal, but they came in around 1990, and before them there were a lot of bands that did Prog Metal, like Fates Warning, Queensryche, and some Iron Maiden albums in 80's influenced prog metal too. I agree with Chris, Master of Puppets is one of the best album in Metal, and the title track, and Orion definitely sounded progressive..

The only song I don't really go for is Remember the Fallen, otherwise the rest of the album is really good!
