Biography
Stefano Ruggeri is an award-winning composer for TV and films.
He found his way into composition after years of classical music education marked by a passion for experimental and electronic music.
Since then he has been a composer for a range of projects in which the traditional scoring approach interacts with the latest musical languages.
In 2012 he received a “Qwartz Music Awards” in the “Discovery” category for his album “Lucen”, released in 2011.
In 2015 he received a nomination to the Production Music Awards in the “Best use of production music in online or viral advertising” for the music of the short movie “The wild”.
In May of 2017 he won an a prize at the “ASCAP Screen Award” in the “Top cable television series” category for his music in the “Grave secrets” TV show.
In October of 2017 he won a Production Music Award in the “Best Contemporary Classical Track” category for his song “Things we love”
Stefano is actually working with some of the most respected music publishers in UK and US.
His music has been used in movie trailers (“The daughter”, “Enemy”, “Locke”, “I am not a serial killer”, “Approaching the unknown”, “The rings”; Blue Ruin”), TV promos and series (“Teen wolf”, “Master ofsex”, “Suits”, “Shameless”, “Grave secrets”,) and in programs and TV shows for FOX, NBC, ABC, MTV, discovery channel, Sky sports BBC, channel 4, ITV and National geographic to name a few. His music has been used also in the Hillary Clinton campaign for the 2016 US presidential election.
