Steven Wilson (born Steven John Wilson on November 3, 1967 in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, England) is the lead guitarist/singer and songwriter for progressive rock band Porcupine Tree. Also a self-taught producer, audio engineer, bass guitar and keyboard player (among other musical instruments), Steven is a man with an almost insatiable need for expressing himself through several projects, each with its own identity and destined to please every possible artistic need he might have as the hard working musician he is known to be.
