Менее навороченные, нежели прочие банды "циркового" метала, что, впрочем, не делает их хуже.

Naught is one of those albums that took repeated listens to grow on me, but now I actually consider it more or less perfect. Mousefood is worth it alone!

https://soundcloud.com/bryce-bruder/stolen-babies-a-year-of-judges-bass-improv I made this as a dedication to Rani Sharone's awesome composing/bass playing skills, hehe

Their bassist is seriously funking me up...I hear a lot of punk rock and rockabilly in his playing, too!

I love how this group is the best entry level avant-garde metal band...silly, but they have substance, crazy experimentation yet put together in very accessible ways...I think their ability to be crazy and quirky without it being too much for many is why they're pretty successful for avant-garde metal.

The Conjuration - "Surreal" (Remastered) One man extreme experimental metal insanity! I guarantee you've never heard anything quite like it. Free download/streaming here: https://theconjuration.bandcamp.com/

Were a cool band to listen to initially, but on revisiting them, I think they might need more attention. Awesome mix of tones, this is basically the best gothic metal/dark cabaret I've heard!

Listening to Naught for the first time right now and I honestly don't understand everybody's gripes with it. Sure they didn't 100% revolutionize their sound but...so what? While I don't believe a band should stagnate, I also see nothing wrong in a band honing their sound. Look at the new releases from Haken and In Vain last year; still the same style as the previous albums, yet tweaked and more refined into their true vision, thus producing two albums which showcase their respective bands in top form. I see Naught as just that; a refinement on TBSA. Even so, it's pretty distinct from TBSA already.
