  • Release Date

    1 January 1989

  • Length

    16 tracks

The debut album by American outfit Terrorizer. It was released by Earache Records on November 13, 1989 with the catalog ID MOSH 16. It was released as a 12" vinyl (33⅓ RPM) and cassette tape. It was released as a CD later on in November and a Japanese edition of it on CD was later on in 1989. It was recorded and mixed at Morrisound Recording, Tampa, Florida, United States. There is a limited edition LP with clear red vinyl of this album.

David Vincent produced World Downfall and Scott Burns engineered it. Vincent was actually a session member, but the booklet lists him as full-fledged member. He was never an original member. Technically, Terrorizer already split-up before World Downfall was close to being released and that explains the lack of support through touring. 1/3 songs were material by Nausea, those tracks for sure are Storm of Stress, Condemned System. By looking at the Nausea discography, it proves it.
