for some reason they gradually lessened their (post-)hardcore ambitions which was obviously a mistake since a lot of people know this band from the NFS games and (post-)hardcore music fucking kicks serious ass every time

Solid band. I listened to the first couple of albums. I'll have to listen to more!

I wasn't a massive fan of V. It was the first album of theirs I've not really liked so I was hoping this wasn't going to be along the same lines as it. Thankfully it's a return to form. A fair few songs pop out instantly as pure quality. Everything is right again in Bronxland for me at least 😁

My parents got me The Bronx for xmas or my birthday when I was 14. I totally forgot about it over the years, Found it again tonight covered in dust, it took some time cus I ashamedly cut up the booklet for my art homework I forgot to do cus I was in very poor health but also addicted to runescape. Hope you all like my life story lawl

It'd be funny if The Bronx was actually from NYC. That would have been too predicable.

Now that I let the album sink in for a bit I have to say though I love the album (I mean, it's The fucking Bronxxx!!!) it kinda feels like they're not firing from all cylinders, it's too focused on melodies in parts and could use more uncontrolled insanity like shown in parts of Under The Rabbit and Too Many Devils for example. Also I feel like Life Less Ordinary only made the cut because the lyrics are good. But again, I DO love the album (just nowhere near as much as Bronx I though ) ;)

They get better and better every time I see them, their new stuff sounds great and they brought the house down with the old classics. What made it a truly memorable night was the support - two cracking support bands who really got the crowd on side and pumped them up for the main act. Go and check out Axis Of and Honningbarna, promise you won't regret it.
