"Safe Ship, Harbored" is The Crane Wives debut album! Written and recorded in Grand Rapids, Michigan during a six month period, The Crane Wives released the twelve track debut after having only been a band for eight months! "Safe Ship, Harbored" was released to an over-capacity crowd at Founders Brewing Company on May 12th, 2011. With over 700 people in the building before the music even began, there was a line just to get in the entire night.
The album features beautiful three-part harmonies, rumbling drum rhythms and dual acoustic guitars. The bass and banjo lightly texture the songs, everything melding into a melodic folk that is both at once beautiful and dance-able. The album can be purchased on iTunes, Amazon, CDbaby, and from every live show The Crane Wives perform!
