The streaming services really need to put this right. It's disgusting that every platform deleted his whole discography. Bring The Flashbulb back!!!

hey did Benn take down Drapes Before Storm after it was bought? Huge if true. Glad I streamed it while it was still up.

he sold it for $1000 on bandcamp and someone actually purchased it. Can't find it anywhere now.

Probably the most consistent musician I've ever delved into. 20 years of incredibly strong and lasting music; never stale and without straying into overly 'revolutionary' phases which muddle many a discography. Hope to hear many more years from Benn.

I think I know what you mean by "revolutionary". every record seems like a natural progression with some exceptions where he goes back to his breakcore roots.

M³ (Daily Assortment of Sound) is a real beauty if you want to feel that you stumbled onto a lost tape, BoC from another world.

Crazy good and I feel a bit disgusted with myself for overlooking this name for so long.

Autumn Insomnia Session, but a percussionless 1 hr loop, is the best thing that's happened to me. (Besides drugs)

Arboreal is still amazing after all the years. Finally checked out another album "These Open Fields". I don't understand why there needed to be a second edition that soon after the original release. And with a dull album cover (a tree). I love the blue one with the pixels much more, it fits perfectly with the atmosphere in most of the songs. Don't understand why he had to change the album cover...

Considering the amount of listeners he has, he gets very little attention from the music press no?

Benn has achieved the dream of all composers: an orchestra at the fingertips, in this case, Jordan’s beautiful samples. He utilized his samples well and constructed a brilliant, nuanced, profound work of art. Nothing Is Real is great music. It does not matter if these tracks will not make the playlists; Jordan aspires to more than playlists, and to more than awards.

This is easily one of the best albums so far. I love those experiments and every tune sounds so different and special. Nothing is Real and Piety of Ashes are the highest artistic points of The Flashbulb, tbh. Both represent a different side of his life and both are very cool. Let's hope we'll see new highs in future. Thank you for this great experience, Benn!

I really love the idea that The Flashbulb may go on tour this year, at least according to his website anyway. I will literally drop everything I'm doing to go see that if it happens.
