Biography
The Gentle Men is a New Zealand-American musical duo consisting of Cr1TiKaL (Charles White Jr.) and Solstate (Troy McKubre). The duo was formed in 2019. In April of the same year, their first single, "2019 Guy," was released. The song eventually became popular amongst the YouTube community and was featured in PewDiePie's YouTube Rewind 2019. In the year 2020, the duo released five more singles in February, May, June, October, and December, titled "Obsession," "Real to Me," "Skynut," "2004 Breakup," and "I Am Truth." The genres their musical masterpieces are known for include, but are not limited to: Comedy Rock, Alternative Rock, Easycore Emo, and, according to some, their own infamous genre: “Cuckcore." As of September 5, 2021, they've released their debut album, "The Evolution of Tears," with remastered singles and 4 new tracks for the public to enjoy. On October 27, 2023, their next release, a self titled EP with five original songs, was unveiled. The EPs five tracks are titled "What's Next," "Enemy," "Let You Down," "Ghosts," and "Opinions Are Weapons," respectively.
