Великолепная группа, стабильно выпускающая крайне слушабельный материал. Альбомы "Hollywood Town Hall" и "Smile" особенно мною любимы.

Should be as well-known as Wilco, wonderful band. Discovered these guys on a blind purchase in a record store in Maine on a summer day and I haven't been disappointed yet.

Yes! The Jayhawks have finally set a release date for Mockingbird Time, the first LP recorded with the classic Gary Louris and Mark Olson-led line-up since 1995's Tomorrow The Green Grass. It hits shelves on September 20th. "Our goal is to make the best Jayhawks album that's ever been done," Louris told Rolling Stone last November. "This is a record for a true Jayhawks fan who loves Tomorrow The Green Grass," said Louris. "It's not a mirror image, but it has a lot of the same elements." Here is the complete track listing: 1. Hide Your Colors 2. Closer to Your Side 3. Tiny Arrows 4. She Walks in So Many Ways 5. High Water Blues 6. Mockingbird Time 7. Stand out in the Rain 8. Cinnamon Love 9. Guilder Annie 10. Black Eyed Susan 11. Pouring Rain at Dawn 12. Hey Mr. Man

My 6th grade english teacher had a Jayhawks poster in our classroom. About 12 years later I'm listening to the band for the first time. My 6th grade english teacher had good taste in music.

Sound of Lies is their masterpiece, totally underrated. They came into their own when Mark Olson left, dude was OK but his voice grates after a while in a way that Gary Louris' does not...
