The one track on Second Coming that appeased the stubborn Roses fans who refused to accept they'd changed over half a decade, Ten Storey Love song saw a return to the Roses of old in most ways, an uplifting, heart-tugging pure pop song. The song opens oddly, with abstract drumming from Reni coming from one side, and seemingly random guitar playing from Squire, then the song begins to take shape, with some wonderful flowing guitar lines and Ian going back to his 1989/1990 days style of singing - like he is singing his heart out. The chorus is classic Roses, and arguably features some of Reni's best backing vocals.
