Okay, I guess I'll be the only one: this is boredom of the year to me. I love The Pipettes and some of Rose's solo works, Blur is one of my favourite bands of all time. But I don't think Rose and Graham fit each other. Very mediocre, repetitive album.

I was surprised by the LP’s eclecticism: there’s echoes of kosmische, folk, glam, punk, and easy listening. It’s an interesting and engaging listen. An album of two halves though. Unsurprisingly it’s front loaded with all the best tunes: Can I Call You, Kill Me Again and Sleepwalking are particularly fine. The neo-Glam stomp of the short and sharp Someone Up There hits the spot. Drowning crashes out of the speakers with echoes of Roxy’s classic 70s artpop especially given Graham’s economic sax contributions, actually that statement equally applies to Kill Me Again. It tails off significantly though.… All Along, Undine, Alone and Free, and You’re All I Want To Know are less thrilling
