"Something in the Air" is a song recorded by Thunderclap Newman, a band created by Pete Townshend for The Who's former roadie John Speedy Keen who wrote and sang the song, from the band's only album Hollywood Dream. The song was a UK #1 single for three weeks in July 1969. It has since been used for films, television and adverts, and has been covered by several other artists.
