I've been looking for bands that are similar to and as good as To-Mera. So far I only discovered Madder Mortem. Any suggestions on who should I check out? Thanks in advance

I understand they sound very different... But I realize in my subconsciousness I put them at the same position.

Such a great band. I remember discovering them on MySpace a little after Transcendental was released. It's a shame they have been kind of an enigma over their career. Only three albums since their formation in 2004. You would think an actual top notch progressive metal band with female vocals would have been a huge recipe for success, but they never seemed to breakout. I guess Julie and Tom are focused on Euphonia now, but they have yet to release an album to my knowledge.

Amazing. Smooth combination of prog metal, jazz, classical, and everything. Tidy and clean. A pleasure to listen to.

@Apatheosis, nothing Gothic about them. These guys sound like Opeth/Symphony x minus the death vocals.

The guitar tone on Earthbound is the best 7 string guitar sound ever recorded. [2]

Anyone who thinks this is 'Meh' doesn't have a clue. Dislike is acceptable, hate even... but meh? This stuff is as diverse, heavy, and intriguing as any prog/djent band, or any metal band of any style.
